Condolences
My sincere condolences to Peter and Katie . I remember picking raspberries on many occasions when your parents were in holidays. Had no idea your mom worked at Parker hannifin. I worked there too from 1974 until 1978.
My mom misses her friend. They would have a good chat with so much in common.
Wishing you many happy memories.

I will always remember Erika as a Citizen of the World. She had a mature intelligence that allowed her to accept and respect people of all nations and ethnicity. Besides which, she was a great friend and very cool person! I will never forget her, nor do I wish to forget such a remarkable person. Words fail.
My sincere condolences to her family near and far; she was a brilliant and fun person, who will be missed.

Paul and Patricia Hutchinson
It was such a gift for both of us to be friends with Erika and Jack since we were teenagers. Among many other occasions, we spent perhaps 50 New Years celebrations with them. We learned about really good food and intense dinner table conversations.
In the same way that she was passionate in her cold-water swimming, hiking and tennis, Erika took on focused intellectual pursuits.
She was motivated, vigorous and enthusiastic in her study of literature, philosophy and psychology. She was authentic in her reflection and thought.
Erika always had deep loyalty and love for her children and her grandchildren, her brother and her parents. With Kate and Peter the connection and respect was profound and went both ways. A great deal of thought and effort from Peter and Margaret and Kate allowed Erika to continue to be herself even as she had great age. Erika was always interested and accepting. She seemed to enjoy many people and made quality friendships.
Jack and Erica as a couple, were good travelling companions for each other. In later years. Jack's conversation was peppered by "Rik says..." They had a lot of life experience, without a lot of drama. Jack"s love of poetry, novels and ideas was exceptional, uncommon. For those who were receptive, his teaching was life-changing.
Erika, Peter, Margaret, Kate and Hamish allowed us to be part of this exceptional family circle. Thank You!
Sending Sincere Condolences in the loss of Erika.
Lovely to have met your mom, cherished memories of being educated by dad Jack.
May your Memories be ever close!
Sincerely,
