Close to my heart
You taught me so much; how to fish, how to not be afraid of getting dirty or wet, how to make the world's best cheesecake, where to find the blueberries... There are so many memories that I will hold close to my heart. I will miss you, but, how lucky am I that I got to be your granddaughter! Not enough words to express how much our memories mean.
Go with peace and love!

In my heart forever
She was the funnest Granny, always ready to play dress up or march in a parade, play dolls or bake cookies. I have so many sweet memories of my childhood with her, going for hikes and bird watching, paddling in the canoe, dancing to Roger Whitaker and Anne Murray and laughing and singing like crazy. She was truly one of the most fun grownups that ever lived and I was so blessed to have her as my Granny. I know she’s now dancing in the sky with my Grandfather.
Rest In Peace Granny, we loved you so much

Blessed that she was part of my life for so long and got to be a part of my kids lives as well. She is at peace now with the love of her life. One of the most wonderful women I've ever known. Love you grandma. Rest well.

Our boat trip
Grandma and Grandpa took us out in the motor boat to go fishing. We were so excited to go with them. So we have gone a ways out and than all of a sudden the motor dies on the boat! So we grab the paddles to start paddling back and can only find 1 paddle! Now grandpa was not to happy about this but grandma was so funny she says "now Gord its not that bad" and starts singing "Row row your boat gently down the stream" and paddling with one oar! It was a very slow trip back but she sang the whole way home! She always made things fun!

Cottage Trips
I will never forget all the fun we shared at the Cottage. My first time in grandma and grandpa's big boat. All the fun canoe pick nick trips together, Getting up early to go blue berry picking and than coming back and making pancakes with the berries we collected! Making meals together and all the great times singing and dancing. Playing Croquet. working on puzzles while you told us stories. I will miss all of Grandma's amazing stories! She had so many incredible stories. I will miss our times together at the cottage grandma.

I have so many memories of the summers my family and I spent with you in your Smithville home. I always loved our parties, the baking, cooking, and so much gardening. I learned so much about birds and different flowers from you as a child, so many things I’ll never forget. I loved our Wednesday nights in Smithville when I was young, being our own judges of Americas got talent and all those shows we loved. Thank you for all the stories you told over the years and encouraging a wild imagination. I will miss you deeply
