Obituary of Ethel Lenora Greenwood

GREENWOOD, LENORA: Peacefully at West Lincoln Memorial Hospital on Thursday, March 2, 2017, Ethel Lenora Greenwood (nee Fairweather) passed away in her 93rd year. Born in Peel Township on January 15, 1925, Lenora was the beloved wife of the late Ralph Kinsman Greenwood (2016) for 70 years. Loving mother of Ron (Patricia), Morley (Roberta), Doreen Hogarth (Bob), Howard (Tham), Lloyd (Sandra), and Doris Hare (Ken). Cherished grandmother of 17 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren. Predeceased by her daughter Linda (1971) and her siblings Morley Fairweather, Howard Fairweather, Stella Franklin, Dorothy Beamer, and Robena Hagarty. Visitation at Merritt Funeral Home, 287 Station Street, Smithville on Sunday, March 5 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. The funeral service will be held at Merritts United Church, 707 Church Rd, Wellandport on Monday, March 6 at 11 a.m. with interment at the Church's adjoining cemetery.
