My deepest condolences to all of you. We have so many memories of our family and yours from so many years past. I often think of your Mom and Dad, and how welcome they always made us feel. Your home always felt like my second home, and for that I will always be grateful. Mom often speaks of your Mom and Dad, and she was deeply saddened to hear this news and is very sorry she is no longer able to travel to attend in person. She is living in a nursing home in Marmora now, but has asked me to let all of you know that her thoughts are with you. Treasure the happy times and the memories, and know that our family will as well.
All my love,
Wendy
I barely knew Lenora, probably one or two fingers left over if I counted the times we’ve met. But I’ve had the privilege, the honour, of being with and married to her eldest daughter Doreen for 30+ years, and the daughter Lenora raised is the most grounded, empathetic, and funniest woman one could ever hope to meet. And I know where she got those traits. I still see Lenora’s personality come out when Doreen is cooking a large meal or coordinating a gathering – just get out of the way if you don’t want to get injured; simply enjoy the fruits of her efforts. She – Mother and Daughter – wouldn’t want it any other way.
Lenora lived a full and rewarding life – mother of seven great children; good piano player that the fiddlers could count on to keep the melody and beat going; chef of the best pot roast and raisin tarts you’ll ever have; wife and pillar of stone for Ralph and her children . . .
The world is both a better place for Lenora having been here, and a bit emptier for her moving on.
May fond memories of your mother bring you comfort during this difficult time. Our hearts and prayers go out to you and your families.

Deepest sympathy to the whole family. Aunt Lenora:s memories and Uncle Ralph's will continue to live on in our hearts. Prayer , Hugs and all our love.
I am very sorry for your loss, she was a very lovely woman
My sincerest condolences to the Greenwood family on the passing of your Mother and Grandmother. She was a very special lady I knew from a young boy living across the road. All the Greenwoods have been like a second family to me. My thoughts and prayers are with you all at this very sad time.
