" Tu vas me manquer beaucoup, Lucien".
Lucien and i, met each other by a coworker at the airport around 2006. Then we have been friend for 18 years. Every vacation time in Québec, he used to past by montréal and it was party time: bars, restaurants and sometimes casino!!! Meanwhile, we used to call each other regularly. He was a good confident.
" I'm gonna miss you a lot, Lucien".
As a very junior member of Out In The Kitchen nearly 20 years ago, I remember meeting Lucien and Dennis. Lucien encouraged me to prepare my first dish for the group, a daunting experience. A few years later, at his 65th birthday party on the rooftop, I saw him speak a quiet thought as he released balloons to the wind to signify his new journey. An inspiring guy!
I knew Lucien for a short time having met both Dennis and Lucien in our office in Grimsby. I looked forward to that willing smile and gentle nature that Lucien always brought in on our annual visits. My thoughts and prayers are with you, Dennis and Lucien’s family. May all the wonderful memories carry you through these difficult times. The world is a better place for the contributions of such a gentle man!
My deepest sympathy to Dennis, their fur babies and Lucien's many family and friends! Lucien was a very kind, generous and loving person and his laugh and smile were infectious. His eyes had a twinkle in them when he talked about his cats and whatever antics they were currently up to. He will be greatly missed by all of us at the Community of St. Luke's Anglican Church and especially by those in the kitchen during one of our many cooking projects. My life is richer for having known you, my friend! Rest in peace Lucien!!!
Love,
Barb Cosby
Dennis,
We have fond memories, Laurence and I, when you and Lucien were our neighbours here at 30 Church St Toronto.
Lucien was always an amiable and energetic friend.
We hope you will gain the strength to transform this sadness into the joy of the celebration of his life.

We send our deepest condolences to Dennis and all of Lucien family. We have known Lucien and Dennis through THBS and we became friends for life along with many, many, many, many more other persons that knew both Lucien and Dennis. Gods Hands will lift him up for who he was. A generous hard working citizen both at his home in Quebec, Toronto and Smithsville. He will be missed. Rest our friend Rest. Until we all meet again.
My condolences to Dennis. Lucien has been a great long time friend to me and Bob.

It is with such painful sadness to have such a great guy leave our presence. His mission in life was to help others and he did that in spades. Lucien will be missed by the many lives he touched with daily text messages often in a mix of french and english, little parcels arriving in the mail, gifts of food appearing on your doorstep, small gifts offered so many times one loses track, appearing with Dennis at a church ready to flip a pancake or slice an onion, just endless goodness. Our summer visits at the Grant Street Pub became legendary due to his gracious hosting and those times are irreplaceable!
Au revoir my dear friend,Non, Je Ne Regrette Pas Rien
Our lasting Memories of Lucien, is his kindness and generosity especially during the "Out in the Kitchen" days. Rest in Peace and Lots of Love from Colin & Brad
