Obituary of Gordon Orval Packham

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Gordon at Edgewater Gardens, Dunnville on Thursday, August 19, 2021, in his 97th year.  Beloved husband of Muriel (Tice) for 73 years.  Loving father of the late Gerald (Linda), JoAnne (the late John), Murray (Joanne), and Eleanor (Cedric), and a cherished grandfather of 11 grandchildren, 23 great grandchildren, and three great great grandchildren.  Visitation for friends and family will be held at Merritt Funeral Home, 287 Station Street, Smithville on Monday, August 23 from 4:00 – 8:00 p.m., masks and social distancing required.  Due to current Covid restrictions, a private funeral service will be held with interment at Merritts United Church.  If desired, memorial donations to Merritts United Church would be appreciated by the family and can be made through the funeral home.
