Our deepest condolences to the McGee family on the sudden loss of George. My heart goes out to all of you. It is also a big loss for our small community! It won't be the same driving by and not getting a big smile or a wave from George. When we came for eggs or straw, George would always take the time to stop and visit. He was a role model as a "neighbour" and a "farmer". He will be greatly missed.
Remembering my beloved Uncle George...
Uncle George always had time for a visit, a smile, a joke. I have so many fond memories of him on the tractor or in the Suzuki. He will be greatly missed. My deepest condolences.

I remember George lifting me up onto his tractor when I was little and going for rides in the field! God speed old friend!
To the McGee Family,
We were saddened to hear of George's passing. George and my dad were school mates, friends and neighbours their whole lives. George was always a good guy to chat with along the fence row and he always had a joke! We will miss seeing him go by the farm in his Suzuki.

Dear Aunt Elizabeth, Pat, Mike and Deanna,
I am so sorry for you loss. Over the past couple of days, we have laughed and cried while sharing our stories about Uncle George and the special role he held in our memories of summers at the farm. Every year when we came home, he made a point of dropping by Mum and Dad's and chatting with us on the back porch, declaring he was "a mess" from the barn, asking about our life overseas and filling us in on the local news.
When we were young, Uncle George made a trip "down the road" after dinner one of our favorite things to do, always willing to have us underfoot in the barn while he was busy doing the chores. He would let us "help", pet and hold the animals, really do anything we wanted - he instilled in us a love and respect for life on the farm. Many years later, this was extended to Cassie and Gaby.
He will always be my favorite Uncle - there are so many memories.
Jane, Brian and Gaby
Sincere Condolences to each of you.
