Sincere condolences Don & Jane.
May Wonderful Memories be ever near.
The Battersby's ( Nee Joanne Hodgkins & family).
I have many happy memories of going to Frank and Ruth's to visit, skating on the lake in winter, playing there in the summer. Riding the dirt bike, seeing all the animals that Frank had, the donkey, the fox he raised etc. and the many meals that Ruth cooked for us. She was always so welcoming.
I remember Ruth helping me make sandwiches for my mom's 90th birthday celebration (Miriam Cuthill).
She will be greatly missed.
Our sincere condolences go to the family.
Praying for you all at this difficult time.
Love Darlene and Alec Pearson
Ruth will be sadly missed. Remembering you all in prayer. Elford & Sharon Norton of Nova Scotia
Ah Ruth! May God rest your soul now with him in Heaven! Ruth knew how to share the love of Christ with grace, to be constant in the line of duty, to bear bereavement without becoming bitter, to share sorrows with real compassion and she always strove to meet the needs of others.
She was mother to some others than her six children and a worth exemplar of Christian grace to all of us.

Please accept our most sincere condolences at this time. W did not have the privilege of knowing your mother, but she has obviously done a marvellous job in raising such fine, responsible children who have now grown into responsible, caring community members.May the good memories of past family times together, help to support you through this sad loss to your family. Sincerely, John and Cheryl
Our thoughts and prayers go out to all the family for the loss of your loved one.
Aunt Ruth meant so much to all of us. She was a fine Christian. This love showed through her life.Love George and Barb Ledwon
To the Merritt Family: We mourn with you in the loss of Aunt Ruth, a joyful, caring, always welcoming and vibrant Aunt. We also rejoice with you knowing that we will be with her again forever. Love Ralph and Sonja Merritt
To the whole Merritt family but especially my sister Fran: Your mom was an honorary member of our family for many years joining us on a family vacation to Moosonee after your dad passed away and then many Christmas dinners and other events after Roly was gone. We loved her spunk and enthusiasm and our family gatherings didn't feel complete if "Mrs Merritt" wasn't there. I know the joy and the sorrow that you feel right now, you are so relieved that your mom is home with the Lord but your heart aches for the love that you have lost. You are all on my heart and in my prayers as you navigate your life without your mom. With love from James, Helen and Karyssa
