Obituary of Anastasios Koroneos

KORONEOS, ANASTASIOS:  At West Lincoln Memorial Hospital on Friday, June 1, 2018, Anastasios Koroneos (Tassos) passed away at the age of 85. Beloved husband of Areti Koroneos (nee Mastorakos).  Loving father of Dena Koroneos, Tessie Danakas (Jim), Pete Koroneos (Rozina), and J. Gus Koroneos (Taren).  Cherished by his grandchildren Katerina England (Phil), Anastasios Perdikis, Kostantinos Danakas, Anastasios Danakas, Anastasios Koroneos, Areti Koroneos, Christina Koroneos, George Koroneos, Areti Koroneos, and Zoie Koroneos, and great grandchildren Adrianna Dena England, and Alexander Robert England.  Visitation at Merritt Funeral Home, 287 Station Street, Smithville on Tuesday, June 5 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. with Prayers at 7:30 p.m.  The funeral procession will leave from the funeral home at 10 a.m. for the Divine Liturgy which will be celebrated at St. Katherine Greek Orthodox Church, 585 Niagara Street, St. Catharines on Wednesday, June 6 at 11 a.m.  Interment Smithville United Church Cemetery, Smithville.  Memorial donations to Agios Haralambos Greek Community Centre would be appreciated by the family and if desired can be made through the funeral home.
