Obituary of Edward Franklin Griffin

GRIFFIN, Edward:  Peacefully with family at his side at McNally House Hospice in Grimsby on Sunday, January 28, 2018, Edward Franklin Griffin passed away at the age of 76.  Beloved husband of Marilyn Louise Griffin (nee Taylor) for 51 years.  Loving father of David Griffin (Carol) and Debbie Terryberry (nee Griffin).  Lovingly remembered by his grandchildren Jack, William, Griffin and Cooper, and brothers Ross Griffin (Ruth), the late Orval Griffin (Betty), Wray Griffin (Donna), and Larry Griffin.  Ed will also be missed by many nieces and nephews.  Predeceased by his parents Andrew and Ina Griffin, and infant sister Kathleen.  Visitation at Merritt Funeral Home, 287 Station Street, Smithville on Tuesday, January 30 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m.  The funeral service will be held at Smithville United Church, 116 West Street (Regional Road 20), Smithville on Wednesday, January 31 at 11 a.m.  Interment at Smithville Church Cemetery.  If desired, memorial donations to McNally House Hospice would be appreciated by the family and can be made through the funeral home.
