Obituary of Herman Schutten

SCHUTTEN, HERMAN:  The Lord called home His child Herman Schutten on Friday, January 5, 2018 at the age of 88.  Beloved husband of Tina Oosterhoff for 65 years.  Loving father of John Schutten (Genevie), Herman Schutten, Pete Schutten (Dianne), and Gerald Schutten (Jodi).  He is also survived by several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, and his brothers Jack Schutten (Ellie) and Gerhard Schutten (Elizabeth), sister-in-law Greetje Schutten, brother-in-law Peter Oosterhoff, and sister-in-law Linda Ruggi.    Predeceased by his sons Jake (1977), Theodore (1978), grandson Tyler Schutten (2012), and by his other siblings.  Visitation on Sunday, January 7 from 6:00-8:30 p.m. at Smithville Canadian Reformed Church, 330 Station Street, Smithville where the funeral service will take place on Monday, January 8 at 10:00 a.m.  Interment Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens.  If desired, memorial donations to Anchor Home would be appreciated by the family and can be made through the funeral home.
