Obituary of Tina DeGroot

DEGROOT, TINA:  Called Home to be with her Lord and Saviour, Tryntje DeGroot (nee Heida) passed away at the age of 80.  Beloved wife of the late Clarence DeGroot (2007).  Dear sister of the late Clarence Heida (Trix), the late Yitty Leenstra (Fred), Jim Heida (Christine), the late Jack Heida (Hennie), Richard Heida (Jean), Bonnie Buma (Peter), Ted Heida (Lucy), Susan Pearce (Bryan), Sally Cutting (Fred), Bob Heida (Jane), and Margaret Bruchmann (Henning).  She will also be missed by many nieces and nephews and many friends.  Also predeceased by her parents Ted and Margaretha Heida.  Visitation at Merritt Funeral Home, 287 Station Street, Smithville on Thursday, October 19 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m.  The funeral service will be held at Immanuel Christian Reformed Church, 61 Mohawk Road West, Hamilton on Friday, October 20 at 11 a.m.  Private interment at Mount Hamilton Cemetery will precede the service.  If desired, memorial donations to the Canadian Cancer Society can be made through the funeral home.
