ARMSTRONG, RONALD: AT Haldimand War Memorial Hospital in Dunnville on Friday, March 17, 2017, Ronald Elwood Armstrong passed away in his 92nd year. Beloved husband of the late Thelma Walker. Loving father of Fay Traver (Gord), Patricia Traver (Larry), and the late Ron Armstrong (2007) and father-in-law to Linda Armstrong. Cherished grandfather of Rhonda Traver, Jason Armstrong (Olena), Tara Rossi (Jason), Lee Traver, and great grandfather of Rachel Grant, Johnathan Armstrong, Ryan Armstrong, Brandon Rossi and Cassandra Rossi. Ron was one of ten children of the late Leonard and Edna Armstrong. Ron served his country in WWII and was an honorary life member of the Royal Canadian Legion. At his request, there will be no service. If desired, memorial donations to the Hamilton Burlington SPCA can be made through the funeral home.
