I am one of Betty's Arizona friends. She and I became friends about 3 yrs. ago when she rented the place across the street from us. She and I sat outside in the evenings until late at night, talking about her family and her late husband. She was a wonderful friend to me, making me laugh and making my life a lot brighter by being her friend. I am so relieved to see her finally out of pain, as this past winter in Arizona was horrible for her. But, I will miss so much having her ride up to our trailer on her bike, ring the bell and yell for me to get out there! Betty was a special kind of person. She could give her opinion without hurting your feelings, complain without really sounding like she was angry, and be sweet always. I loved having her for my friend and will miss her so much. I just want her family to know, she talked about you all the time. She loved you all so much.
I will see you again Betty. But for now, you are with your Savior Jesus Christ, out of pain, and enjoying the reunion with your family that went before you. Good bye my sweet friend.
