Condolences
Dear Barb, Kevin, Jake and Joey, Our sincerest condolences to you on the loss of your mother. Doris was a beautiful lady with a generous heart and always ready to help others. Mom will miss their friendship - the phone calls and the trips to Euchre. Your mom and all of you are in our prayers. Sherri, Terry, Maria and Rebecca
Barb, Kevin and family, we are so sorry for your loss. Caistorville , has certainly lost one of their best people. Your Mom was a very active person in the village. I know when, I was president of the WI, your Mom was the lady that helped me greatly. Doris, my two sons and myself were the only people that showed to set up for a large catering in the Binbrook Ag. Bdlg. I never forgot this. Also, Doris, during her many walks would gather garbage along the way to keep Caistorville at its best. She also was instrumental in planting flowers in the village. Your Mom, did a lot, I know I do not have to tell you all this.
I will miss your Mom.
Our thoughts and prayers are with you all. Take care, Art & Verna
Dear Shirley , So sad to read of your sisters passing, I have many fond memories of visiting with Doris when visiting the castorville church ,always so kind and considerate . She was always so kind to water the flowers on the Sisler and Goit graves. She will be missed by many all her kind acts of kindness and hard work to make sure everything was organized. Always a friendly smile. Shirley I hope all well with you and your family. I have many fine memories of our days in caistor and visiting with your parents on the back road.Thinking of you at this very sad time as you recall all your wonderful memories . Sincerely Brenda and family. Westlake(Goit)

Barb and family: Steven and I were both so sorry to hear of your mom's passing....I am so sorry that we are now too far away for me to pay my respects to her in person. She certainly was an amazing lady and I am not sure what I would have done without her my first year in Caistorville esp. Over my eight years there, she was always around, and was the first and last there if anything needed to be done. We had many wonderful talks in the office and I respected her very much. it was nothing to come in and see her high on a ladder replacing a bulb or adjusting a clock...and oh the sump pump woes!!! I remember the...seems like hundreds of times I forgot my key and would look over to see if her car was at the house. Eventually I would knock on the door and she would already have her key in her hand. :) Doris will be greatly missed in many many ways, and I will cherish all of my memories of this wonderful disciple.
