Obituary of Oscar Ralph Kinzel

KINZEL, OSCAR: Peacefully at United Mennonite Home in Vineland on Thursday, December 17, 2015, Oscar Ralph Kinzel formerly of Grimsby passed away in his 92nd year. Predeceased by his beloved friend Ruby Wilcox, parents Charles and Elizabeth Kinzel, sister Louise, brothers Clayton, Charlie and William Kinzel. Oscar will be sadly missed by his sister June Hakes, niece Susanne Martin (John), friends Harry and Emellyn Mooradian, Kay and Jim Atkinson, Jean Waite, Earl and Elaine Crooks and many others. He will be remembered as a quiet, kind, gentle man, who among many things loved farming, playing cards and dancing. Our sincerest gratitude to the doctors, nurses and staff of the United Mennonite home in Vineland whose love and kindness will never be forgotten. Also, a special thank you to Barry, Kelly and the staff at the Grimsby Senior Day Program. Visitation at Merritt Funeral Home, 287 Station Street, Smithville on Sunday, December 20 from 7-9 pm. The funeral service will be held at the funeral home on Monday, December 21 at 11 am. Interment Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens, Stoney Creek, followed by a reception at Smithville United Church. If desired, memorial donations to United Mennonite Home would be appreciated by the family and can be made through the funeral home.
