Obituary of Alex George Kozarichuk

KOZARICHUK, ALEX: With sadness the family of Alex Kozarichuk, lovingly called "Hobo", announce his passing in his 91st year on Sunday, September 6, 2015. Loving husband of the late Ida Kozarichuk (2005). Loving father of Rick (Bonnie) Kozarichuk, Barbara and the late Don Kozarichuk (2000), and Diane (Jim) Semenuk. Loving grandfather and great grandfather of Cinnamin (Jeff), Taylor and Autumn Johnstone; Jodie (Jeff), Liam and Mia Boverhof; Cheryl (Len), Ethan and Trevor Kowalik; David (Caroline), Jacob and Leah Kozarichuk; Paul Kozarichuk; Lynn Manns; Andrea (Mark), Abigail, Jonas, Isaiah and Emma Zuidersma; Ken (Grace) Semenuk. Loving brother of Mary Skrypnyk and uncle of Larry Skrypnyk and Lilly Zdichavsky. Predeceased by his mother Lena and father John. Alex was a welder at Stelco/Page Hersey in Welland for 40 years. He has been retired for the past 30 years. Visitation on Tuesday, September 8 from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. at Merritt Funeral Home, 287 Station Street, Smithville. The funeral service will be held at Bismarck United Church, 5523 Regional Road 65 (Silver Street west of Regional Road 20), St. Anns, on Wednesday, September 9 at 11 a.m. with interment at the Church's adjoining cemetery.
