BRAZEAU, ARTHUR: At Welland County General Hospital on Sunday, February 8, 2015, Arthur Lucien Brazeau passed away in his 82nd year. Beloved husband of Jacqueline Brazeau (nee Bourassa). Loving father of Michael (Agathe Moze), Micheline (Marcel Forest), Denise (Aldo Mancuso), Aline (Dale Caldwell), Lucien (Lynn), Lucy (Rick Johnstone), and Jeannine (Neil Kemmers). Cherished grandfather of 20 grandchildren and 20 great grandchildren. Dear brother of Constance (Darius Dusheine) and Claire (Conrad Champagne). Predeceased by his daughter-in-law Olive Brazeau, granddaughter Rebecca Johnstone, great granddaughters Charli-rose Mancuso and AmelieTurgeon, and his other siblings. Retired after 30 years of dedicated service at National Steel Car, after which he enjoyed being a handyman around his home. Visitation at Merritt Funeral Home, 287 Station Street, Smithville on Wednesday, February 11 from 7-9 pm and Thursday, February 12 from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. The funeral service will be held on Friday, February 13 at 11 am at the funeral home. If desired, memorial donations to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family and can be made through the funeral home.
