We were so sorry to hear about the loss of our uncle Robert. The thread of his life is woven through our memories, through family get-togethers, during the holidays and all occasions for celebration, he was a consistent and welcome presence. In recent years we had a routine of weekly phone conversations to keep in touch across the miles. He was a quiet and gentle soul, and he will be missed.
