Obituary of Tina Sawyer

SAWYER, TINA:  At West Lincoln Memorial Hospital in Grimsby on Friday, November 24, 2006, Zwaantina (Tina) Alberta Sawyer (nee Westerhof) of Smithville, in her 75th year.  Beloved wife of the late George Dean Wright (1986) and the late Jack Alexander Sawyer (1996).  Loving mother of Bruce Earl Wright and his wife Janet of Niagara Falls, Gary Dean Wright and his wife Patricia of Huntsville, Edward Wright-Sawyer and his wife Tracey of St. Catharines, Sherry Lynn Hunter and her husband Donald of Hamilton, and Linda Darlene Emerson of Ancaster.  Cherished grandmother of 19 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren.  Dear sister of Jakoba and the late Al Dekker of Fonthill, Rita and the late Klaas Meeboer of Hamilton, and Gerrit Westerhof and his wife Judith of Winnipeg.  She will also be sadly missed by her stepson Verne and many nieces and nephews.  Predeceased by her daughter Donna Lee, brother Henry Westerhof and sister Greta Kiers and her husband Rudolf.  Friends may call at the Merritt Funeral Home, 287 Station Street, Smithville on Sunday from 2-4 and 7-9 pm.  The funeral service will be held on Monday, November 27 at 11 am at the funeral home.  Interment Smithville United Church Cemetery.  Special thanks to the Doctors, Nurses and Staff of West Lincoln Memorial Hospital ICU and C Ward.  If desired, memorial contributions to the Canadian Cancer Society or charity of your choice would be appreciated by the family and can be made through the funeral home.
