PHILLIPS, OTTO (RED):  Peacefully, on Wednesday, December 13, 2006, Otto (Red) Wright Phillips of St. Catharines, in his 94th year.  Beloved husband of the late Helen Phillips (nee Page).  Loving father of Paul Phillips (Barbara) of Petrolia, Allan Phillips (Denise) of Calgary, Patti York (Brian) of St. Catharines, Janet Delgaty of St. Catharines, and the late Mary Ellen Brunton, and father-in-law of Don Brunton.  Dear brother of Helen Martin of Crystal Beach, and Bev White (Charlie) of Hamilton.  Loving grandfather of 16 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren.  Predeceased by his brothers Tiny, Jack, Fred, Dick and Ross Phillips, and sister Thelma Blackwell.  Red served in WWII with the RCAF and was a member of the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 24 in St. Catharines for 62 years.    Friends may call at the Merritt Funeral Home, 287 Station Street, Smithville on Sunday from 2-4 and 7-9 pm.  The funeral service will be held at the funeral home on Monday, December 18 at 2 pm.  Interment Caistorville United Church Cemetery.  If desired, memorial contributions to the Alzheimer Society would be appreciated by the family.
