OBUCINA, KATICA (Kathy): Peacefully, at West Lincoln Memorial Hospital in Grimsby on Wednesday, December 6, 2006, Katica (Kathy) Obucina in her 58th year. Beloved wife of Zvonko Obucina for 40 years. Loving mother of Ed Obucina and his wife Tanya, and Lydia and her husband Tom Dickson. Cherished Baka of Emily and Sierra, Anaya and Noah. Loving daughter of Mira and the late Andrija Kusic. Dear sister of Dragica Tompa and Stefanie Zugec and their families. Kathy will also be sadly missed by extended family in Croatia, Australia and Germany. Friends may call at the Merritt Funeral Home, 287 Station Street in Smithville on Friday from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. The interment at Union Cemetery in Smithville will be held at 12:30 pm on Saturday, December 9 and the service will begin at 2:00 pm at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, 164 Mountain Road in Grimsby.
