VAN MARRUM, WIKJE: At Hamilton General Hospital on Wednesday, November 19, 2014, Wikje Van Marrum of Shalom Gardens in Grimsby was called Home to be with her Lord and Saviour at the age of 93. Beloved wife of the late Tjitze Van Marrum. Dear sister of the late Liebe Roorda, Anne DeVries (the late Jack), the late Turner Roorda (Joan), the late Paul Roorda (Tilly), Jake VanderMeulen (Anne), the late Trinka DeHaan (John), John Roorda (the late Margaret), Susan DeGroot (the late John). She will also be missed by the Van Marrum families, all the nieces, nephews and friends. Visitation at Smithville Christian Reformed Church, 6522 Smithville Road, Smithville on Sunday, November 23 from 6-9 pm. The funeral service will be held at the Church on Monday, November 24 at 1 pm. Private interment at Pleasantview Memorial Gardens in Fonthill will precede the service. If desired, memorial donations to Shalom Manor would be appreciated by the family and can be made through the funeral home.
