RAVENSBERGEN, MARIE: At her home in Smithville with her family by her side on Saturday, May 24, 2014, the Lord called home His child Marie Gertrude Ravensbergen (nee Jansema) was taken at 54 years of age. Loving wife of Jacob Ravensbergen for 34 years and daughter of Alida Jansema and the late Jacob. Loving mother of Alisha Ravensbergen and Jim Szumilas, Peter and Denise Ravensbergen, Sophie and Steve Lenting, Bernie and Carrie Ravensbergen, Bernice and Andrew Lenting, Jake and Alisha Ravensbergen, John and Stephanie Ravensbergen, and Rose Ravensbergen. Cherished grandmother of 21 grandchildren. Marie will also be dearly missed by the Jansema and Ravensbergen families. Visitation at Covenant Canadian Reformed Church, 480 Woolverton Road, Grimsby on Wednesday, May 28 from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. The funeral service will be held at the Church on Thursday, May 29 at 11 am. Private interment at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens will precede the service. If desired, memorial donations to Anchor Home or the Juravinski Cancer Centre would be appreciated and can be made through the funeral home. ~ Psalm 84 ~
