POWELL, RUBY: Peacefully at McNally House Hospice in Grimsby on Thursday, July 3, 2014, Ruby Evelyn Powell (nee Driscoll) of Smithville passed away in her 94th year. Predeceased by her husband William J. Powell. Loving mother of Elaine Powell, Gail Cowan (Rick) and Larry Powell (Audrey). Cherished grandmother of David Powell and Kevin Powell. Dear sister of Frank Driscoll (the late Joan), Donald Driscoll (Lorraine), and Douglas Driscoll (Frances). Predeceased by sister Marion Tobin (the late Joseph) and brother Gordon Driscoll. She will also be sadly missed by her nieces and nephews. Visitation at Merritt Funeral Home, 287 Station Street, Smithville on Monday, July 7 from 4-7pm. The funeral service will be held at St. Luke's Anglican Church, 216 Station Street, Smithville on Tuesday, July 8 at 11 am with inurnment at the church's adjoining cemetery. If desired, memorial donations to McNally House Hospice or St. Luke’s Anglican Church would be appreciated and can be made through the funeral home.
