McHugh, Frank: Peacefully at St. Joseph’s Hospital, surrounded by his family on Thursday, August 28, 2014. Francis James McHugh in his 63rd year. Predeceased by his parents James Patrick (1998) and Agnes Graham McHugh (2005). Frank is survived by his brothers Jim (Cathy) and Mike (Vicci). Proud uncle to Melissa (Andrew), Mike Jr. (Lara), Christine, Daryl, Peter and Rebecca. Proud great uncle to Bailey, Emma and Penelope. He will also be missed by his cat “Murph”. A heartfelt thank you to all the Doctors and staff of St. Joseph’s Hospital 6th floor and to Dr. Woods and the palliative care team. A special thank you to nurses Allan, Tessie, Lindsay, Donna, Michelle, Sharon, Patricia, Shanette, and Jacquie for the exceptional care and compassion they gave our brother and uncle, we will always hold that dear to our hearts. Visitation at Merritt Funeral Home, 287 Station Street, Smithville on Tuesday, September 2 beginning at 1pm. The funeral service will follow at 3pm. If desired, memorial donations to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated and can be made through the funeral home.
