COPELAND, WILLIS: With his family at his side, peacefully at West Lincoln Memorial Hospital in Grimsby on Tuesday, April 1, 2014, Willis Ronald Copeland of Smithville passed away in his 94th year. Beloved husband of Marilyn (nee Springsted) for 62 years. Loving father of Brian Copeland and his wife Sandra, and John Copeland and his wife Sarah. Cherished grandfather of Erin, Lesley, Mitchell (Faith) and Rebecca (Simon). Dear brother of Mary Copeland. Predeceased by brothers and sisters Roy, Evelyn Pepenhagen, Frank, Anne and Donald. Willis was a WWII veteran and an active member of Smithville United Church. Together with his wife Marilyn, they owned and operated Fulton Feeds servicing the West Lincoln area for many years. Visitation at Merritt Funeral Home, 287 Station Street, Smithville on Friday, April 4 from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. The funeral service will be held at Smithville United Church, 116 West Street (Regional Rd 20) in Smithville on Saturday, April 5 at 11 am. Private inurnment at the church's adjoining cemetery. If desired, memorial donations to Smithville United Church or the Salvation Army would be appreciated and can be made through the funeral home.
