KOOL, MARILYN: Suddenly at home on Monday, September 10, 2007, Mary Marilyn Kool in her 68th year. Beloved wife of Arthur Kool Sr. for over 46 years. Loving mother of Arthur William Kool, and of Trish Beckett and her husband Al. Cherished by her grandchildren Bryan (Danielle), Adam, Calvin, Zachary and Cristian Kool, Erin and Tara Beckett, and great-grandchild Brianna Kool. Dear sister of Sharon Gillmore (Paul), William T. Simmons, Brenda Brenzil (Lyle), Lynda Simmons (Gary Boyko), and Cheryl Ecker (Bruce), and sister-in-law of Nell and John Slater, Jerry and Margaret Kool, John and Eileen Kool, Ineke and Richard Denley, and Corrie Kool. Predeceased by her parents William and Eileen Simmons, and brother-in-law Wesel Kool. Friends may call at the Merritt Funeral Home, 287 Station Street, Smithville on Wednesday from 2-4 and 7-9 pm with Prayers at 8 pm. The Funeral Liturgy will be celebrated on Thursday, September 13 at 10 am at St. Martin of Tours' Roman Catholic Church, Smithville, with interment at the church's adjoining cemetery. If desired, memorial contributions to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or Canadian Diabetes Association would be appreciated by the family and can be made through the funeral home.
