WILKINSON, MARION: At West Lincoln Memorial Hospital on Tuesday, February 16, 2010, Marion Aletha May Wilkinson (nee Hiscott) of Smithville in her 91st year. Dear wife of the late Elmer (1997). Loving mother of Marie and her husband Fred Whitbourn, John and his wife Susan, and June Wilkinson. Dear sister of Violet Finn, Holly Muir, and Lillian Romagnoli. Predeceased by her brothers Edmar (Ben), and Everett Hiscott. Dear sister-in-law of John and Marion Shantry, and Walt and Wendy Shantry. She will be greatly missed by eight grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren. The family wishes to thank the Red Cross Personal Care Workers, West Lincoln Memorial Hospital Staff and the Health Team at Smithville Medical Centre for their special care of someone who always cared for others. Friends may call at the Merritt Funeral Home, 287 Station Street, Smithville on Thursday, February 18 from 7-9 pm. The funeral service will be held on Friday, February 19 at 11 am at the funeral home. Interment Bismark United Church Cemetery. If desired, memorial contributions to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or Canadian Red Cross (St. Catharines branch) would be appreciated by the family and can be made through the funeral home.
