Obituary of William Wray Lymburner

LYMBURNER, WILLIAM “WRAY”:  A father, grandfather and great grandfather to be proud of, passed away peacefully on Sunday, March 28, 2010 at West Lincoln Memorial Hospital at the age of 91 years.  Predeceased by his loving wife Betty (nee Joslin) 1994.  Loving father to Edward and Jenny Lymburner of Grimsby, Bryan Lymburner of Gatineau, Quebec, and Karen and Raymond Stacey of Bramalea.  Leaving behind are his loving grandchildren Michael, Shawn, Jodi, Jennifer, Jeremy, Sarah and Matthew and his 14 great grandchildren.  He will be dearly missed by his brother and sister-in-law Lorne and Fern Lymburner of Dunnville.  Predeceased by his brother and sister-in-law Audrey and Eileen Lymburner.  Wray served as a veteran of WWII (RCASC) and a faithful Elder and member of St. John’s Presbyterian Church in Grimsby.  Friends may call at the Merritt Funeral Home, 287 Station Street, Smithville on Wednesday, March 31 from 5-9 pm.  The funeral service will be held on Thursday, April 1 at 11 am at St. John’s Presbyterian Church, Grimsby.  If desired, memorial contributions to Albright Centre or St. John’s Presbyterian Church would be appreciated by the family and can be made through the funeral home.
