KRAMER, WILLIAM: After courageously suffering a long bout with cancer, William Kramer of Smithville passed away on Thursday, December 10, 2009 at West Lincoln Memorial Hospital. Beloved husband of Nellie Kramer (nee Plantinga). Loving father of Ron, Kevin, Mark and his wife Linnea. Cherished grandfather of Richard, Robert, Michael, Kaitlynn, Dakota, Sierra and Mikayla. He will also be missed by many other family members. Friends may call at the Merritt Funeral Home, 287 Station Street, Smithville on Monday from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. The funeral service will be held on Tuesday, December 15 at 1:30 pm at the Smithville Christian Reformed Church, 6522 Smithville Road. Interment prior to the service. Special thanks to the staff of Juravinski Cancer Centre and the volunteer cancer drivers. The family respectfully declines floral tributes; if desired, memorial contributions to McNally House would be appreciated and can be made through the funeral home.
