On be half of the RLA Kitchen and Robert Land Academy I would like to extend our condolences to your family. Joan was and is a very special woman to me. I am the Chef here at RLA and when I first started in the kitchen here, Joan was one of my employees. But that's not where my memories of her began. I was also a student here at the Academy and Joan was a big part of my life here. She reminded me of my mother and was always friendly firm and fair. Always had a smile and warmth that could only come from someone who was so caring. she served me my meal and cleaned up after us. Joan was a true treasure and will always have a special place in my heart. Once I took over the kitchen Joan took care of me once again. Joan was my sanitation expert and I have to say one of the very best employees a Chef could have. She was tireless and devoted. Upon her retirement I remember say that she will never be replace. Joan was one of those people who had an unwavering faith and love for her work her family the boys here at the Academy and the people she worked with. You will be missed dearly Joan. I am a better person for knowing her

Dear Paul Anthony Andrew and Vanda Ann so sorry to hear of mums passing thinking of you all at this sad time. I really wish I had met my Aunt she always kept in touch with me over the years she was such a lovely warm and special lady.
