Peacefully at home on Tuesday September 21, 2021, Gord passed away in his 82nd year. Survived by his loving wife of 59 years, June (Lymburner). Loving and devoted Dad to his girls; Lorraine Rush (Bob), Lynne Brunaccioni (Ken) and Gwenn. Cherished and adored Papa to Emily, Nicholas and Benjamin. Dear brother to Jamie (Kathy), Sam (Dorothy)and Margaret. Predeceased by his parents Everett and Alicia, and sisters Barb Stolys (Adolf) and Sheila Weiss (Helmut). Will be missed by his mother-in-law Marguerite Lymburner (and the late Milan). Dear brother-in-law to Lawrence and Kathy, Francis and Joyce, Maxine and John, Craig and Nancy, Marlene and Ever, Ward, Robin (and the late Lyle). He will be greatly missed by many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Over the years, Gord’s love of fastball led to many lasting friendships. “Gudge” participated in many Provincial Championships, whether it be from the pitcher’s mound or coaching from the sidelines. Gord will be remembered for his sense of humour, patience, strong work ethic and spending time with family.  Cremation has taken place. A private family service will be held.  If desired, memorial donations in Gord’s name, can be made to Glanbrook Community Services or Binbrook United Church, through the funeral home.
