A painful goodbye!

It hurts to let you go, but you are finally at peace with Papou!

You were the first one to hold me when I was born (you reminded me of it often) & I was lucky enough to be one of the last ones to hold you before you left us to your forever home in Heaven!

I will cherish all the beautiful memories I shared with you close to my heart forever. Our trips to Greece together, Easter egg hunts on the farm, cherry picking, Greek dancing to our favourite songs together, all the laughs, your comforting words and so much more. You made my childhood unforgettable and I will never forget the love you had for your grandchildren. Life will never be the same without you Yiayia. You’ve only been gone for a short period of time and I already miss you more than words can express. The angels are very lucky to have you!
