Obituary of Sally Kazienko

KAZIENKO, Sally:  With her family at her side at Juravinski Hospital in Hamilton on Saturday, February 27, 2021, Sally (Eileen) Kazienko (nee Shirton) was called Home to be with her Lord and Saviour.  Sally was the soulmate and loving wife of Tom (Albert) Kazienko, celebrating 50 years of marriage this year.  She was the loving mother of their son Zenon Kazienko and his wife Tanya (nee Theiss).  Predeceased by parents Aletha and Leslie Shirton, sister Marie Rogers (the late Jim), and brother Lyle Shirton (the late Rubena, and the late Sharon).  She will be dearly missed by her nieces, nephews, cousins, friends and extended family.  Special thanks to those who cared for Sally over many years. 

Due to current CoVid restrictions, a private service will be held at Merritt Funeral Home, Smithville on Wednesday, March 3 beginning at approximately 11 a.m.  For those wishing, the funeral service will be livestreamed.   In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to Juravinski Hospital and Cancer Centre Foundation (https://www.hamiltonhealth.ca/donate) would be appreciated by the family.
