RITCHIE, MARGARET: Peacefully at McNally House on Wednesday, May 21, 2008, Margaret Ritchie (nee Smith) of Smithville in her 76th year. Beloved wife for 55 years of Eric. Loving mother of Heather and Joseph Mataseje and cherished grandmother of Alexander. Predeceased by her sister Phyllis in Scotland. Margaret will also be sadly missed by a niece and nephew in Scotland. Friends may call at Merritt Funeral Home, 287 Station Street in Smithville on Thursday from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. The funeral service will be held on Friday, May 23 at 11 am at the funeral home. Cremation with private inurnment. If desired, memorial contributions to McNally House would be appreciated by the family and can be made through the funeral home.
