Oh Wilf
I was so blessed to you have known you. I believe your and Mom Annita took me under your wings and protected me supported me and mostly loved me as if I was your own daughter. I will miss your laughter your kindness and your love in my life the most.
Rest in Peace Dad I love you.
Anita and family sorry for your loss. Uncle Wilf was a gentle, wise, and funny man. He always had a crooked smile and a funny story. My favorite memory of him was a life lesson in a story. My dad and I had went to his shop in stoney creek on business. I was 15 and knew everything like all 15 year olds. I was excited about getting my license and buying a car, but was having a heck of a time finding a decent job ( I was too proud to work for the family business) . I had long hair and was very proud of it. Uncle Wilf told me the story about the father and son and the three things to get a car. Get better grades . The son studied and did that. Go to church, the son did that too. Get a hair cut. The son said why should I? After all you asked me to do, which I did, I learned that Jesus had long hair , so if it was good enough for Jesus, then its good enough for me!!!! To which he responded....Jesus walked everywhere he went. He will be sorely missed Mick Austin
We are so sorry to hear of Wilf's passing. Please know our thoughts are with you all through this difficult time.
