SARANTAKOS, Georgina: At Welland Hospital on Saturday, Feburary 8, 2020, Georgina Sarantakos passed away in her 88th year. Beloved wife of the late Otto Sarantakos (1998), and mother of Paul and his family, and Tom Sarantakos. Georgina was born in Greece to parents Anastasios Marmarinos and Konstantina Koulourithi, along with siblings John, Marina, Matoula, and George. Divine Liturgy was celebrated at St. Katherine Greek Orthodox Church, St. Catharines on Friday, February 14 with interment at Smithville United Church Cemetery, Smithville. Memorial donations to the Kidney Foundation or St. Katherine Greek Orthodox Church can be made through Merritt Funeral Home if desired.
