BACON MARIA JOSEPHINA: Josie passed away at Roberta Place, Barrie on Monday, October 14, 2019 Maria Josephina Bacon-Van Genechten in her 93rd year. Josie was a very caring wife to the late Glen Roy Bacon (2018). Loving Mama to Rita Saunders (Philip). Cherished Grandmother to Mark Saunders (Olivia) and Alison Saunders (Jeremy Plante). Great Grandma to Grace, Braden and Faith. Josie is predeceased by her dear bother Gustaaf Van Genechten. A memorial gathering will take place at Merritt Funeral Home, 287 Station Street, Smithville on Saturday November 9, 2019 beginning at 12 noon until the service at 1pm.
