Obituary of Alexander McLean

MCLEAN, ALEX:  At his home surrounded by the love of his family, Alexander McLean passed away on Saturday, August 11, 2018 at the age of 58. He was a loving partner to Janet Carlton, devoted father to his daughter Tonya Kowch, cherished grandfather of Abigail Kowch, Anna Kowch, and Jacob Heczko, and dear brother of Neil McLean and the late Hugh McLean.  Alex will also be remembered by his nieces and nephews.  Longstanding member of Local 95 Heat & Frost Asbestos Workers Union.  Visitation at Merritt Funeral Home, 287 Station Street, Smithville on Friday, August 17 from 6-9 p.m.  A memorial service will be held at St. Luke's Anglican Church, 216 Station Street, Smithville on Saturday, August 18 at 11:30 a.m.  Inurnment Lane's Cemetery, St. Anns.  If desired, memorial donations to McNally House Hospice would be appreciated by the family.
