JANSSEN, MATTHEW: On Saturday, July 26, 2008, our God and Father decided to take to Himself our beloved son and brother, Matthew Alan Janssen, in his 21st year. Matthew will be dearly missed by his parents Alan and Lisa (nee Vis) Janssen, his brother David and his wife Sarah, his niece Jadyn, his sisters Katelyn, Emily and Stephanie, grandparents John and Willy Janssen, Leo and Liz Vis, aunts and uncles Henry and Barb Janssen, Albert and Lynn Janssen, Ben and Renee Jacobi, Tina Janssen, Lennard Vis, Tony and Marie Vis, Henry and Sharon Vis, Jason Vis, best friends John Riewald and Derek DeVries, as well as his many other family and friends. Visitation will be held at the Wellandport (United) Orthodox Reformed Church (on Wellandport Road) from 2-4 and 7-9 pm on Tuesday, July 29. The funeral service will be held on Wednesday, July 30 at 11 am at the Wellandport (United) Orthodox Reformed Church with interment at Lane Cemetery following the service. If desired, memorial contributions to Wellandport Christian School would be appreciated by the family and can be made through the funeral home.
