McCREADY, FRANK: Suddenly at home on Wednesday, September 27, 2006, long-time resident of Bismark (St. Anns) Frank Cecil McCready Sr. passed away in his 85th year. Beloved husband of the late Sarah Melissa Wardell (1996). Loving father of Frank McCready Jr. (Melanie) of St. Anns; Leslie McCready (Kathy) of St. Anns; Sharon Richardson (Bruce) of Port Colborne; Theresa McPherson (Ronald) of St. Anns; Steve McCready (Debbie) of Nova Scotia; Mary-Lou Bass (Bruce Cubitt) of Wellandport; Carol McCready (Rob McHenry) of Wainfleet; and Alan McCready, Ron McCready and Jamie McCready at home. Cherished by his 10 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren. Dear brother of Annie Ryckman, Lloyd McCready (Doreen), and Irene McCready. Predeceased by his parents Cecil McCready and Annie Lillavette Fortman, sisters Mabel McCready and Ina Griffin, and brother Art McCready. Friends may call at the Merritt Funeral Home, 287 Station Street, Smithville on Friday from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. The funeral service will be led by Rev. John Knoll on Saturday, September 30 at 11 am at the funeral home. Interment Merritt's United Church Cemetery.
