LANE (nee Lymburner), ARLENE ALICE: It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Arlene Lane in her 79th year, at the Henderson General Hospital on Sunday, March 19, 2006. Dearly loved mother of Gary Lane and his wife Cathie of Dundas. Loving Grandma of Bradley and Matthew Lane. Beloved wife of the late Douglas Omer Lane (1997) and the late Ewart John Lane (1971). Dear sister of Keith Lymburner and his wife Rhondda of Guelph. Dear aunt of Blake Lymburner. Predeceased by brother Blake Lymburner (1955). Retired teacher of the Lincoln County Board of Education (1985). Will be fondly remembered by many dear friends and family. The family received friends at the Merritt Funeral home, 287 Station St., Smithville on Wednesday March 22nd. The funeral service was held on Thursday, March 23rd at 11 am at the Smithville United Church with interment at the church’s adjoining cemetery. Donations to West Lincoln Memorial Auxiliary or the Juravinski Cancer Centre in Arlene’s Memory would be appreciated by the family and can be made through the funeral home. Special thanks to the staff of Ward 395 of the Henderson General Hospital for their kind and compassionate care.
