BABALOS, NICOLAS: At West Lincoln Memorial Hospital in Grimsby, on Sunday, November 19, 2006, Nicolas Babalos of Stoney Creek, in his 72nd year. Beloved husband of Mary Babalos (nee Philippeos). Loving father of Penny and Steve Zorbas. Cherished grandfather of twin grandchildren Eric Nicholas and Alexa Marie. Dear brother of Dimitrios, Evangelos and Spyros Babalos and Ourania Flamboura, all of Greece. Friends may call at the Merritt Funeral Home, 287 Station Street, Smithville on Wednesday from 2-4 and 7-9 pm, with Prayers of the Rosary at 8 pm. The funeral procession will leave from the funeral home at 10 am on Thursday, November 23 for the funeral service at 11 am at St. Katherine Greek Orothodox Church, 585 Niagara Street (at the corner of Linwell), St. Catharines. Interment Smithville United Church Cemetery. If desired, memorial contributions to St. Katherine Greek Orthodox Church or West Lincoln Memorial Auxiliary would be appreciated by the family and can be made through the funeral home.
