OLASKI, JOSEPH: It is with sad hearts that we announce the passing of Joe, who left us quietly and with dignity, surrounded by the love of his family on Monday, October 15, 2012 at the age of 72. Joe was the beloved husband of Carolyn (Field-McIntyre) and the late Gail (1980). Loving father of William and Angie Olaski, Terri Culp (Paul Ellis), Dennis and Meagan Olaski, and Chris and Jon Thompson. Cherished grandfather of Joe, Andrea, Danielle, Aidan, Oliver, Ila and Jackson. Dear brother of Carol and Ken Lampman and brother-in-law of Grace. Predeceased by his brother Stan. The family will receive friends for visitation on Wednesday, October 17 from 2-4 and 7-9 pm at Merritt Funeral Home, 287 Station Street, Smithville. The funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 18 at 11am at Smithville United Church, 116 West Street (Regional Road 20), Smithville. Private inurnment. If desired, memorial donations to Canadian Tire Jumpstart or Smithville United Church would be appreciated and can be made through the funeral home.
