OBUCINA, ZVONKO: At West Lincoln Memorial Hospital in Grimsby on Thursday, June 21, 2012, Zvonimir (Zvonko) Obucina passed away in his 70th year. Beloved husband of the late Katica (Kathy) Kusic (2006). Loving father of Ed (Tanya) Obucina and Lydia (Tom) Dickson. Cherished by his grandchildren Emily, Sierra, Anaya and Noah. Dear son of Julka and the late Mato Obucina, brother of Ruzica (Franjo) Prpic, and brother-in-law of Ante. Predeceased by his sister Liljana. Zvonko will also be missed by other family in Croatia and Canada. Visitation on Monday, June 25 from 7-9 pm at Merritt Funeral Home, 287 Station Street, Smithville. The funeral service will be held at Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, 164 Mountain Road, Grimsby on Tuesday, June 26 at 7 pm. Interment at Union Cemetery, Smithville will precede the service on Tuesday at 1 pm. If desired, memorial donations to the Watchtower Bible and Tract Society would be appreciated and can be made through the funeral home.
