McINTYRE, DAVID: We are saddened to announce the death of David Joseph McIntyre at his home in Smithville on Tuesday, April 24, 2012 at the age of 15. David was a beloved son to his mother Michelle McIntyre and his father Kevin (Becky) McIntyre, a loving brother to Steve, and to his step siblings Lindsay, Tina, Matthew and Mark. Cherished grandson of Fred (Leone) Doucette and John and Joann McIntyre. David will also be sadly missed by his aunts, uncles and cousins. Predeceased by his grandmother Eunice Doucette. Visitation will be held at Merritt Funeral Home, 287 Station Street, Smithville on Friday, April 27 from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. The funeral service will be held on Saturday, April 28 at 11 am at Smithville United Church, 116 West Street (Regional Rd 20), Smithville with interment at the church's adjoining cemetery. If desired, donations to F.O.R.T. Grimsby (Foundation of Resources for Teens) would be appreciated and can be made through the funeral home.
