MAGUIRE, NEIL: With family at his side, Neil Maguire of Niagara-on-the-Lake passed away in his 78th year on Thursday, December 20, 2012 at the St. Catharines General Hospital. Predeceased by his parents Vincent and Ethel Maguire (nee Valentine), and his beloved wife Dorothy Maguire (nee Grove). Neil will be remembered by Shirley Maguire and her family. He will be dearly missed by his children Dean, Patrick and his wife Grace, Christine Campigotto and her husband Gerry, Michael, Timothy and his wife Deborah, Terry and his wife Linda, Neil, and Greg his wife Caroline; his grandchildren Wendy Schell (Adam), Kevin, Rebecca Caza (Danny), Catherine, Ryan, Brittany, Meghan, Alexandra, Scott, Connor, Larissa, Danian, Mae, Brayden, Julia, and his great grandson Carter Schell. Neil is also survived by his brother Joseph. Predeceased by siblings Donald Maguire and his wife Rita, Edna Leahy and her husband Raymond, Ralph Maguire, Theresa Clark and her husband William, and Ruth Towns and her husband Joseph. Visitation at Merritt Funeral Home, 287 Station Street, Smithville on Sunday, December 23 from 2-4 and 7-9 pm with Prayers at 8 pm. The Funeral Liturgy will be celebrated at St. Martin of Tours Roman Catholic Church, 166 West Street (Regional Road 20), Smithville on Monday, December 24 at 9 am with interment at the church's adjoining cemetery. If desired, memorial donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated and can be made through the funeral home.
