BOS, DONALD: The Lord called home Donald Ralph Bos of Smithville on Friday, May 11, 2012 at the age of 68 years after a brief struggle with leukemia. Don was the beloved husband of Elizabeth (nee Lof) for 47 years. Loving father (father-in-law) of Marion (Tim) Evink, Wayne (Elaine), John (Karen), Don (Monica), and Cindy. Cherished by his grandchildren George, Don, Tymen, Brent, Steve, Justin, Jesse †, Taylor, Anna, Joseph, Benjamin, Reuben, Beth and Simeon. Dear brother (brother-in-law) of Fred (Margaret), Jake (Winnie), John (Diane), Jenny (John Henry) Haveman, Ralph (Anita), and Wilma (Ed) Salomons, and of siblings-in-law Beatrix, Peter and Alice, Jake and Liz, John and Mary VanderHoeven, Henk and Sophia TeVelde, and Peter and Margaret Witten. Predeceased by Dirk Lof (Beatrix), and Ricki Bos (Fred). He will also be missed by several nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held at the Smithville Canadian Reformed Church (330 Station Street, Smithville) on Monday, May 14 from 3-5 and 7-9 pm. The funeral service will be held at the Church on Tuesday, May 15 at 1 pm. Interment at Union Cemetery will precede the service.
