TUCK, ORV: Suddenly on Wednesday, February 23, 2011, Ronald Orville Tuck of Welland in his 57th year. Beloved husband and loving partner of Janet Tuck (nee Crawford) for 34 years. Loving father of Wayne and Avrielle, and Brian and Paula. Cherished “Papa Tuck” to granddaughters Sophia, Abigail and Grace and to many others. Orv will also be missed by his sisters Diane (Wayne), Joan (Murray), Joyce, Marion (Hal), Nancy (Craig), and Susan (Alain); brothers Jim (Judy), Bob (Sheila), and Wayne (Jennifer); sisters-in-law Dianne (Jerry), Beverly (Greg), Lorraine, Phyllis (Daryl), and Christine; brothers-in-law Roy (Shirley), and Jim (Candace); and by many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Orv was a loyal and dedicated driver for Tallman Transport, Welland for 18 years. Family and friends may call at Merritt Funeral Home, 287 Station Street, Smithville on Sunday, February 27 from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. The funeral service will be held at Smithville United Church, 116 West Street (Regional Rd 20) in Smithville on Monday, February 28 at 11 am. Interment Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens. Because of Papa Tuck’s eternal love for all of his kids, memorial donations to the St. Catharines General Hospital Foundation Pediatric Department would be appreciated by the family and can be made through the funeral home.
